Le Pharaoh loads below in its UK version from Hacksaw Gaming's demo server, with a £5,000 play balance and nothing to register. Stakes run from £0.10 to £5.00 over 14 levels, starting at £2.00, while autoplay, turbo and slam stop are off and every round takes at least 2.5 seconds. With no buy menu in this version, the Bonus Choice opens only when three or four FS scatters land on a normal spin, which makes the demo a practical place to compare both routes.
Five bonus games and a £5,000 play balance. No account and no deposit.
The return of Le Pharaoh depends partly on the player, because its RTP shifts with the bonus picked in the Bonus Choice. Always taking Luck of the Pharaoh or its Super version gives 96.18%, and always taking Lost Treasures or Super Lost Treasures gives 96.21%, both from 10,000,000,000 simulated rounds. Rows marked UK apply to the British version only.
Le Pharaoh pays on 19 fixed lines rather than clusters, yet much of its value comes from what a win leaves behind. Winning symbols stick and earn a re-drop, and every paying symbol that sticks turns its square gold. A Rainbow still on the grid when the re-drops end converts those squares into Coins and special symbols. The cards follow that order from the first line win to the final collection.
Line wins
Matching symbols pay along fixed lines from the leftmost reel; the scroll Wild fills in.
19 paylinesSticky Re-drops
Winning symbols hold their places while the rest drops again. New or longer wins stick too and earn another re-drop.
After a winGold marks
Each paying symbol that sticks marks its square gold. Sticky Rainbows and FS symbols leave no mark.
Golden SquaresGolden Riches
A Rainbow on the grid after the last re-drop activates every Golden Square, which reveals a Bronze, Silver or Gold Coin.
Rainbow triggerGreen and Golden Clovers
Green Clovers multiply Coins and Pots on adjacent squares, Golden Clovers every Coin and Pot on the grid.
x2 to x20Pot of Gold
After the Clovers, Pots gather all Coins and other Pots, top to bottom and left to right.
CollectorTiming decides what the Golden Squares are worth. In the base game they last only until the next spin begins, so a Rainbow has to be on the grid when the last re-drop ends. When that happens, the sticky paying symbols are cleared and every gold square reveals a Coin or, by chance, a Clover or Pot of Gold. Once all values are collected, the other Golden Squares activate again and the reveal repeats until nothing is left to trigger.
Each Coin type has its own fixed set of values, shown below with the range at the £2.00 starting bet of the UK demo.
| Symbol | Values | Worth at a £2.00 stake |
|---|---|---|
| Bronze Coin | 0.2x, 0.5x, 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x | £0.40 to £8 |
| Silver Coin | 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x | £10 to £40 |
| Gold Coin | 25x, 50x, 100x, 250x, 500x | £50 to £1,000 |
| Green Clover | x2, x3, x4, x5, x10, x20 on adjacent squares | Multiplies nearby values |
| Golden Clover | x2, x3, x4, x5, x10, x20 on the whole grid | Multiplies all values |
| Pot of Gold | Collects all Coins and other Pots | Sum of what it gathers |
Scatters in Le Pharaoh lead to a menu rather than a fixed round. Three or four FS symbols landing together open the Bonus Choice, where you pick one of two games, and five FS symbols go straight to the Epic Bonus. Counting the Super versions, that makes five bonus games, and the cards cover the three main routes.
Luck of the Pharaoh
3 FS scatters, your pick → 10 free spins
Keeps Sticky Re-drops and Golden Riches, and Golden Squares stay lit to the end, even after a Rainbow has used them.
Lost Treasures
3 FS scatters, your pick → 3 lives
Only Coins, Clovers, Pots, Stone Tablets and dead symbols land. Any symbol that is not dead refills the lives to 3.
Rainbow over the Pyramids
5 FS scatters → 12 free spins
Plays like Luck of the Pharaoh with Golden Squares highlighted to the end, and a Rainbow lands on every free spin.
Four scatters unlock the Super pair. Super Luck of the Pharaoh gives 12 free spins instead of 10 and reveals a Clover every time Golden Riches activates, while Super Lost Treasures always lands an Adding Stone Tablet on its first spin. Both improve the chances of higher-value Coins and Pots of Gold. Which route to take is a matter of taste, since the RTP gap is just 0.03 points.
Outside the UK, Le Pharaoh can show a buy menu with four options priced as multiples of the stake. BonusHunt and Rainbow are FeatureSpins that stay active until you disable them, while the other two lead straight into the Bonus Choice. Where two RTP figures are given, the first belongs to the Luck of the Pharaoh route and the second to Lost Treasures.
BonusHunt FeatureSpins
3x betRTP 96.28% / 96.35%High volatility. Bonus games five times more likely.
Rainbow FeatureSpins
60x betRTP 96.35%High volatility. A Rainbow lands with a win each spin.
You Must Choose...

...But Choose Wisely
250x betRTP 96.29% / 96.26%High volatility. Choice of the two Super versions.
Le Pharaoh shares its Golden Squares, Clovers and Pots of Gold with other Hacksaw Gaming slots whose names start with Le, yet its menu for picking the bonus sets it apart. Le Zeus also uses 19 paylines but swaps gold marks for stacks of Mystery symbols. Le Bandit and Le Fisherman pay in clusters, and Le Cowboy upgrades its coins with a revolver.
The calculator works out the money side of a planned session, with a separate RTP option for each route through the Bonus Choice.
Session calculator
A theoretical average over a very large number of spins, not a forecast of any single session.
At £1.00 over 200 spins, £200 goes in and £192.36 is expected back on the Luck of the Pharaoh route or £192.42 on Lost Treasures, with a £15,000 cap at that stake. Volatility is 3 of 5, a medium setting, so real sessions spread widely around these averages, and the buy prices apply only where a menu is sold.
The return depends on which bonus you take when three or four scatters open the Bonus Choice. Always choosing Luck of the Pharaoh or Super Luck of the Pharaoh gives an RTP of 96.18%, while always choosing Lost Treasures or Super Lost Treasures gives 96.21%. Both values come from 10,000,000,000 simulated rounds. The difference is small, and a single session can still end far from either of them.
Luck of the Pharaoh is a round of 10 free spins that keeps Sticky Re-drops and Golden Riches, and its Golden Squares stay lit until the end. Lost Treasures removes the normal paying symbols and runs on three lives instead of a fixed count, using sticky Coins, Pots of Gold and Stone Tablets. The second route carries the slightly higher RTP of 96.21% against 96.18%, but neither changes the 15,000x cap.
The round starts with three lives and every spin uses one of them. Any symbol other than a dead symbol refills the lives to three, so the bonus keeps going while new Coins, Clovers, Pots or Stone Tablets appear. It ends after three spins in a row without a refill, or earlier if Coins, Pots and Stone Tablets fill the whole grid. All Coin and Pot values are then added together and multiplied by the stake.
Four scatters unlock Super Luck of the Pharaoh and Super Lost Treasures in place of the standard pair. The Super free spins round gives 12 spins rather than 10 and reveals a Clover each time Golden Riches activates, and Super Lost Treasures always lands an Adding Stone Tablet on its first spin. Both raise the chances of higher-value Coins and Pots of Gold and, where a buy menu exists, sit in the 250x tier.
Not in the base game. Golden Squares, sticky Rainbows and sticky FS symbols are all removed when the next spin starts, so a Rainbow has to be on the grid when the re-drops end for the gold squares to pay. Luck of the Pharaoh, its Super version and Rainbow over the Pyramids work differently, because there the squares stay highlighted until the round ends, even after a Rainbow has activated them.
Stone Tablets appear only in Lost Treasures and Super Lost Treasures, and once they land they stay sticky until the end. An Adding Stone Tablet adds 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x, 250x or 500x to one random Coin on every spin. A Multiplying Stone Tablet multiplies one random Coin by x2, x3, x4, x5, x10 or x20 on each spin, so a few tablets can keep raising values while the lives last.
No. The buy menu, where a version has one, lists BonusHunt FeatureSpins, Rainbow FeatureSpins, You Must Choose... and ...But Choose Wisely, and the Epic Bonus is not among them. It starts only when five FS scatters land together on a base-game spin and gives 12 free spins with a Rainbow on every one. In the UK there is no buy menu at all, so every bonus in Le Pharaoh comes from scatters.
A real-money balance changes what each spin costs but not the rules you have tried in the demo. The Bonus Choice, the five bonus games and the 15,000x cap stay the same, so decide on a deposit limit and on how long you want to play before the first spin, and keep to both.
The casinos at the top of this page show their welcome offers for UK players. Make sure Le Pharaoh is in the lobby and read the bonus terms before you deposit.
