The poster below opens the British version of Le Bandit directly from Hacksaw Gaming, with nothing to register and nothing to deposit. One click starts the loading screen, and a short intro has to be closed before the grid appears. Results follow the rules of the paid game, while the £5,000 balance exists only inside the demo.
A free £5,000 play balance in UK mode. No account and no deposit.
UK mode brings its own limits. Stakes run in 14 steps from £0.10 to £5.00 with £2.00 preselected, autoplay and turbo are off, and no round finishes in under 2.5 seconds. A small panel tracks session time and net position. The bonus games cannot be bought here, but BonusHunt FeatureSpins at 3x the bet stay available.
The sheet separates what belongs to the game from what the UK version adds. Grid, win rule, coin values and the 10,000x cap travel with Le Bandit to every market. Stake range, autoplay and the buy menu are set per jurisdiction, and the RTP row needs a second look, because the game exists in four versions.
The casino decides which version of Le Bandit it runs, and the one in use is printed under the paytable in the game info. Over 500 spins at £1.00, the top and bottom versions differ by £39.90 in theoretical return.
Every spin of Le Bandit runs through a fixed order. Clusters pay, Super Cascades refill the board and each winning position is marked as a Golden Square. Those marks stay idle until a Rainbow lands, and then coins, clovers and Pots of Gold appear in a sequence that can loop several times.
Clusters of five or more
A win needs five or more matching symbols joined horizontally or vertically, anywhere on the grid. The Wild stands in for every paying symbol.
Win ruleSuper Cascade
All regular paying symbols of the winning type leave the grid, copies outside the cluster included, and new ones drop in.
RefillWin To Win marks
Each position behind a winning symbol becomes a Golden Square. In the base game the marks do not carry over to the next spin.
Golden SquaresRainbow
Once every win is paid, a Rainbow activates all Golden Squares, which reveal Coins, a Four-Leaf Clover or a Pot of Gold.
ActivationFour-Leaf Clover
Each clover multiplies the Coins and Pots of Gold on adjacent squares by x2, x3, x4, x5 or x10.
MultiplierPot of Gold
Pots collect every Coin and every other Pot on the grid, top to bottom and left to right, before the squares reveal again.
CollectorCoins pay multiples of the stake, shown here in pounds at the lowest and the highest UK bet.
| Symbol | Values | At a £0.10 bet | At a £5.00 bet |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bronze Coin | 0.2x, 0.5x, 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x | £0.02 to £0.40 | £1 to £20 |
| Silver Coin | 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x | £0.50 to £2 | £25 to £100 |
| Gold Coin | 25x, 50x, 100x, 250x, 500x | £2.50 to £50 | £125 to £2,500 |
| Four-Leaf Clover | x2 to x10 on neighbours | No cash value | No cash value |
After the Pots have collected, the other Golden Squares activate once more and reveal new symbols, until no fresh Pot of Gold turns up. Only then are the squares removed and the values added together and multiplied by the bet. A single Gold Coin of 500x beside a x10 clover is therefore worth 5,000x on its own.
The number of FS scatters landing together on one base-game spin decides which of the three free spins games starts. All three keep the base rules for clusters, cascades and Rainbows. What changes is how long Golden Squares survive, from the next Rainbow to the whole round.
Luck of the Bandit
3 FS scatters → 8 free spins
Golden Squares stay highlighted between spins until a Rainbow activates them, so marks pile up.
All That Glitters Is Gold
4 FS scatters → 12 free spins
Golden Squares remain for the entire round, even after a Rainbow has used them.
Treasure at the End of the Rainbow
5 FS scatters → 12 free spins
Squares stay all round, a Rainbow lands on every spin and Bronze Coins are left out.
One rule links the first two rounds. Four FS symbols at once during Luck of the Bandit move the round into All That Glitters Is Gold with four extra spins. If the 10,000x cap is reached in any game, the round ends at once, the win is paid and the remaining free spins are dropped.
Outside Britain, Le Bandit can show a buy menu with four entries priced as multiples of the bet. Two are FeatureSpins, which stay on until you switch them off, and two start a bonus game at once. Buying is not available in every jurisdiction, the UK among them, so only BonusHunt is left in the British version.

At the £2.00 default stake BonusHunt costs £6 a spin, while Rainbow FeatureSpins would cost £100 and All That Glitters Is Gold £500 where they are sold. The menu labels BonusHunt as high volatility and the other three as medium. BonusHunt can also be switched on from a sign beside the grid, which shows the higher stake first.
Several other Hacksaw Gaming slots share the Le prefix, and four of them have pages here. Le Cowboy fires a revolver at the grid, Le Zeus hides prizes behind Mystery symbols and Le Pharaoh holds winning symbols for a re-drop. Le Fisherman keeps Golden Squares and Rainbows but caps wins at 15,000x, with the same medium volatility.
This calculator turns the published figures into pounds. Pick one of the 14 UK stakes, a spin count and one of the four RTP versions to see the total staked, the expected return, the theoretical loss, the 10,000x cap and the BonusHunt price at that stake. At £2.00 over 100 spins, 96.34% implies £192.68 back from £200.
Le Bandit session calculator
A theoretical average over a very large number of spins, not a forecast of any single session.
On the same settings, 88.36% lowers the expected return to £176.72. With volatility at 3 of 5, a medium setting, a short session can still end far above or below either figure. Treat the numbers as a spending plan rather than a forecast.
Hacksaw Gaming lists four versions of Le Bandit: 96.34%, 94.23%, 92.17% and 88.36%. The casino picks the version and the player cannot change it. To see which one is running, open the game info and look under the paytable, where the theoretical payout is printed. That figure comes from ten billion simulated rounds, so it describes the long run rather than one session.
Yes. The rules state that the top prize of 10,000x the bet can be reached in the base game as well as in Luck of the Bandit, All That Glitters Is Gold and Treasure at the End of the Rainbow. As soon as the cap is hit, the game shows a message, ends the round and pays the win. Free spins still left in a bonus are discarded, and play returns to the main screen. At the £5.00 top UK stake the cap equals £50,000.
The Rainbow is the switch for every Golden Square on the grid. It acts only after all clusters and cascades of the spin have been paid. Each activated square then reveals a Bronze, Silver or Gold Coin, or a Four-Leaf Clover or Pot of Gold. Without a Rainbow the squares bring nothing in the base game. In Treasure at the End of the Rainbow one lands on every spin, and Rainbow FeatureSpins do the same where a casino sells them.
Pots of Gold activate after all clovers have applied their multipliers. Each Pot collects every Coin and every other Pot of Gold on the grid and stores the total, working from top to bottom and left to right. After the last one, the remaining Golden Squares reveal fresh symbols, and this repeats until no new Pot appears. Then all Coins and Pots are added up and multiplied by your bet.
Only in part. The UK version has no option to buy Luck of the Bandit or All That Glitters Is Gold, and Rainbow FeatureSpins are missing too, so the bonus games have to be won with scatters. BonusHunt FeatureSpins remain, at 3x the bet with an RTP of 96.28%, and each boosted spin is five times more likely to start a bonus game. At the £2.00 default stake that means £6 per spin until you switch the feature off again.
Clusters pay in seven steps: 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 to 10, 11 to 12, and 13 or more symbols. The five lowest symbols pay 0.1x the bet for five and 15x for thirteen or more. The highest-paying symbol returns 1x for five and 100x for thirteen or more, with the other premiums in between. The paytable in the game shows these amounts in money for the selected bet, so a new stake changes every figure there.
Not in the base game, where they wait for a Rainbow on the same spin and are removed once the reveal cycle ends. Luck of the Bandit keeps them highlighted from spin to spin until a Rainbow activates them. All That Glitters Is Gold and Treasure at the End of the Rainbow keep every square for the whole round, even after activation, so later Rainbows can open the same positions again and again.
A real-money session follows the same rules as the free demo, from the clusters to the 10,000x cap. What changes is that every stake leaves your own balance and the casino chooses the RTP version. Check that figure in the game info and set a deposit limit before the first spin.
The casinos at the top of this page list welcome offers for UK players. Make sure Le Bandit is in the lobby and keep to the limit you set.
