Le Cowboy runs right on this page in its UK build, served by Hacksaw Gaming without any sign-up. Click the poster and close the intro screen to reach the grid. The demo starts with £5,000 in play money that has no cash value, while every rule behind a result matches the paid version.
Free play in UK mode with £5,000 of demo credit. Nothing to register.
The UK settings shape the demo. There are 15 stake levels between £0.05 and £5.00, starting at £2.00, and each spin is started by hand because autoplay and turbo are off. Rounds last at least 2.5 seconds, and no buy menu appears, so every bonus here comes from scatters.
Some rows are fixed by the game and some by the British rules. The grid, the reveal values and the 25,000x cap go wherever Le Cowboy goes, while stakes, autoplay and buying depend on the market. Bonus rounds also carry their own return, set by how often you gamble.
A bonus won from the base game returns 96.40% if you never gamble, 96.37% if you always gamble once and 96.28% if you always gamble twice. Each Gamble trades a little return for a shot at a bigger round or a cash prize.
Clusters pay and Super Cascades refill the grid, just as in Le Bandit. The twist is a Wild in a winning cluster, which becomes a Revolver Cylinder and shoots positions once the cascades settle. The shots uncover coins, diamonds, clovers, Loot Bags and Reloads, which resolve in a fixed order.
Five-symbol clusters
Any group of five or more identical symbols connected up, down or sideways pays. The wanted-poster Wild substitutes for them.
Win ruleCascading refills
Every regular paying symbol of the winning type is cleared, not only the cluster, and new ones fall in.
After a winRevolver Cylinder
A Wild in a winning cluster becomes a cylinder with 2 to 6 shots and is no longer Wild. Cylinders fire top to bottom, left to right.
Wild upgradeReload
A Reload refills every cylinder with 2 to 6 new shots. Only one Reload can sit on the grid at a time.
More shotsClover multipliers
Green Clovers multiply Coins, Diamonds and Loot Bags next to them, Gold Clovers those on the whole grid.
x2 to x20Loot Bags
After the clovers, each Loot Bag collects every Coin, Diamond and activated Loot Bag on the grid.
Collectors
Each shot can uncover a cash symbol, and a Coin that is hit again moves up one type.
| Symbol | Values | At £0.05 | At £2.00 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bronze Coin | 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x | £0.05 to £0.20 | £2 to £8 |
| Silver Coin | 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x | £0.25 to £1 | £10 to £40 |
| Gold Coin | 25x, 50x, 100x | £1.25 to £5 | £50 to £200 |
| Diamond | 150x, 250x, 500x | £7.50 to £25 | £300 to £1,000 |
A Coin hit again becomes the next Coin type, and a Green Clover hit twice turns Gold. Diamonds, Gold Clovers, Loot Bags and Reloads cannot be shot again. Once no Reload is left, values appear, clovers multiply, Loot Bags collect and the shot positions reveal again until nothing new lands.
Three, four or five FS scatters landing together in the base game open one of three bonus games, each with 10 free spins. FS symbols never land on the same spin as a Revolver Cylinder. The first two rounds begin with a Bonus Gamble, where you either play the spins or let a revolver pick an outcome.
High Noon Saloon
3 FS scatters → 10 free spins
The base-game rules stay in place, with a higher chance of Revolver Cylinders.
Trail of Trickery
4 FS scatters → 10 free spins
A Bullet Collector gains one bullet per win and fires them all on the last free spin.
Pistols at Dawn
5 FS scatters → 10 free spins
The Bullet Collector starts at 5 and fires on every free spin, then resets to its count before firing.
The Gamble works like one turn of the cylinder. In High Noon Saloon the revolver lands on one of four outcomes:
Trail of Trickery has eight outcomes: one upgrades to Pistols at Dawn, two pay 5x to 20x, four pay 25x to 100x and one pays 150x, 250x or 500x. Once an outcome is awarded, the Gamble ends, so the choice is between the spins you triggered and the revolver's pick.
Where buying is allowed, Le Cowboy shows four options priced as multiples of the stake, while the UK build has none of them. FeatureSpins stay on until you switch them off, and bonus games bought from the menu keep the Gamble choice.
BonusHunt FeatureSpins
3x betRTP 96.24% to 96.06%Bonus games five times more likely.
Wild West FeatureSpins
75x betRTP 96.26%At least 2 Wilds land every spin.
High Noon Saloon
65x betRTP 96.33% to 96.10%The first bonus game.
Trail of Trickery
250x betRTP 96.33% to 96.20%The bonus with the Bullet Collector.
The RTP ranges reflect the Gamble: the higher figure applies if you never gamble, the lower one if you always gamble. FS symbols cannot land during Wild West FeatureSpins. Pistols at Dawn is not for sale, so five scatters or a winning Gamble are the only ways in.
Le Cowboy shares its prefix with other Hacksaw Gaming slots, and four have pages here. Le Bandit marks winning positions for a Rainbow to open, Le Zeus works with Mystery symbols and Le Pharaoh lets winners stick for a re-drop. Le Fisherman collects with Buckets and stops at 15,000x, below the 25,000x of Le Cowboy.
Put the published numbers to work first. Choose one of the 15 UK stake levels and a spin count to see the amount staked, the return implied by 96.28%, the theoretical loss, the 25,000x cap and four buy prices. One hundred spins at £2.00 come to £200 staked and £192.56 expected back.
Le Cowboy session calculator
A theoretical average over a very large number of spins, not a forecast of any single session.
At £0.05 the cap is worth £1,250, and at £5.00 it reaches £125,000. Buy prices apply only where a casino offers the menu, unlike the UK version. Volatility sits at 3 of 5, a medium setting, so a real session can end well away from these averages.
Yes. The game info lists a base return of 96.28%, calculated over ten billion simulated rounds. Bonus rounds have their own figures: a bonus won in the base game returns 96.40% if you never gamble, 96.37% if you always gamble once and 96.28% if you always gamble twice. All of these describe the long run, so a single session can finish far from them in either direction.
Each cylinder carries between 2 and 6 shots, and it fires only after all wins and cascades of the spin are settled. Every shot hits one position, and the same position can be hit more than once. Several cylinders fire in turn, top to bottom and left to right. A Reload revealed by a shot refills all cylinders with 2 to 6 new shots, which can extend one spin well beyond its first volley.
A revolver picks one outcome instead of the free spins. In High Noon Saloon it can upgrade you to Trail of Trickery or pay an instant 1x to 100x. In Trail of Trickery one of eight outcomes upgrades to Pistols at Dawn, and the others pay between 5x and 500x. Gambling once lowers the long-run bonus return from 96.40% to 96.37%, and gambling twice to 96.28%. Any awarded outcome ends the Gamble.
It is a counter beside the grid in Trail of Trickery and Pistols at Dawn. In Trail of Trickery each win adds one bullet, and on the last free spin Smokey fires them all at the grid, revealing Coins, Diamonds, Clovers and Loot Bags. In Pistols at Dawn the collector starts at 5, fires on every free spin and then returns to the count it had before firing, so it keeps growing.
No. The UK build has no buy menu and no FeatureSpins, so every bonus game has to be triggered by three, four or five FS scatters. Elsewhere the menu can offer BonusHunt FeatureSpins at 3x, Wild West FeatureSpins at 75x, High Noon Saloon at 65x and Trail of Trickery at 250x the bet. Pistols at Dawn is never for sale in any version, so five scatters or a winning Gamble remain the only routes to it.
Yes. The rules say a max win of 25,000 times the bet is available in every game mode, the base game included. When it is reached, a message appears, the round ends immediately and the win is paid. If that happens during free spins, the game returns to the main screen and the remaining spins are discarded. At the £2.00 default UK stake the cap equals £50,000, and at £0.05 it equals £1,250.
The grid mixes the card ranks 10, J, Q, K and A with western symbols such as cacti, cowboy hats, sheriff stars and cattle skulls. A wanted poster marked Wild substitutes for them, and gold FS badges start the bonus games. Clusters pay in six steps from 5 to 14 or more symbols: the lowest symbols pay 0.2x to 50x the bet and the top symbol 1x to 200x, with four other premiums in between.
Nothing in the rules changes when you move from demo credit to your own money. The cylinders, the Gamble and the 25,000x cap work as on this page, but each stake is now real and the casino decides on buy options. Decide on a deposit limit and a stop time first.
